Andreea is a Romanian lawyer based in Sweden, with over a decade of experience advising global organizations on EU data protection and tech law. Combining a background in informatics with a law degree with a major in human rights from the University of Bucharest complemented by studies at Erasmus University, Andreea offers a rare blend of technical and legal expertise.

 

Her career spans leading law firms, where her work has been wider than data protection – she contributed to the evaluation of Romania’s Civil Code, negotiated high-stakes contracts, and represented clients in international arbitration. In 2016, she founded a boutique law firm, spearheading GDPR compliance programs across diverse industries, from telecom and healthcare to online advertising and FMCG.

 

Between 2019 and 2024, Andreea held senior in-house roles at Volvo Cars and Boeing, leading global privacy compliance initiatives for cutting-edge technologies. Now, as Managing Partner of ICTLC’s Sweden office, she continues to help organizations operationalize privacy while mentoring the next generation of privacy professionals through PrivacyCraft, a hub she founded in 2024.

 

Recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy, Andreea holds multiple certifications, including CIPP/E, CIPM, and ECPC-B. A regular lecturer at Maastricht University where she is a Visiting Fellow and a sought-after speaker at global conferences, she is committed to shaping the future of privacy in a digital world.
